Easily Book Your

Wedding Photographer

Have you tried booking a photographer or a videographer for your event?

Doesn't it blow your mind at how frustrating and difficult it can be without rates upfront and having to email them just to find out how much they charge, just to see if they're even within your price range?

It was a surprise for me back when I was starting this website and checking out other photographers' sites to have an idea of how to move forward. It took me several websites before hitting on one that told me how much they cost. Though it's a bit better now with more creatives displaying their rates, it's still shocking to see a good number of them without this important information.

I've been trying to look for a good videographer to work with, possibly long term if the fit is right, and I was discouraged to find that it's still not as easy as it's supposed to be. Yes, samples of work are all over the site. Their About Me page gives a long history of how they started out and how they came to be which, to be honest, I didn't give a fuck about.

I wanted two things. To see if I like your work and know how much it costs. Just those two things. I am not going to date you or be your new bestfriend or write your biography. You might have had an interesting journey. You might have been mentored by so and so. Or started with film. Or shoot with your feet.

Again, I do not care.

I want your talent and I want to know if you're worth what you charge.

It was a ridiculous discovery. As a service provider, next to the list of services that you offer, price common sensically comes next. In this day and age when your clients' choices are just a few mouse clicks away, you have to make sure you're able to let them know what you can give them and for how much within just a few seconds. No amount of blogs or biographies can change the original reason they're there for.

To me, this was a no brainer.

To me, this was an opportunity.

So I posted every. damn. thing I offered. With prices and a button that allows you to book and pay for it right then and there. Not wasting anybody's time. Mine or yours. Of course, I asked you to shoot me a quick email just to let me know your date to see if I'm available. I'd respond (and still do) quickly and as soon as you get my reply that I'm free, you can book me right away and I've penciled us on your date. Simple.

People value their time. I know I do. So I cut back on all the bullshit and go straight to the point. I answer all the questions I think you could possibly ask on the website and on my first email reply. I'm aware that there's still a chance that I might've missed something so I encourage you to contact me if you have a question, suggestion or whatever clarification. And again, I reply right away.

Things work so much better if we keep it simple. You see my photos. You like them. You book me. I take your photos. You receive your photos. Everybody's happy.

I'm still looking for that videographer. If you know a good one, please send them my way. And if I like them, I'll give you a surprise.
